We will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Notice. No purpose in this notice will require us keeping your personal information for longer than the period of time in which users have an account with us.

Memry is designed as a lasting archive, so we do not automatically delete your memories when a subscription ends. If your plan lapses, your account becomes read-only (locked) but your data is preserved so you can reactivate later. Deletion is user-initiated: you can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings, which erases your memories, audio, photos, profiles, preferences, notifications, and any account links.

When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize such information, or securely store it and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.


8. How Do We Keep Your Information Safe?

In Short: We aim to protect your personal information through a system of organizational and technical security measures.

Upon your request to terminate your account, we will deactivate or delete your account and information from our active databases.

Most web browsers include a Do-Not-Track ("DNT") feature or setting. At this stage, no uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals.

We have not sold your personal information, and we do not sell personal information. We also do not share your personal information with third parties for their own purposes. The only circumstance in which your content is made visible to another person is when you yourself use the account-linking feature described in Section 4 and turn on sharing for a specific memory — this happens only at your direction and under your control, and you can revoke it at any time.

California "Shine The Light" Law

California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits our users who are California residents to request and obtain from us, once a year and free of charge, information about categories of personal information (if any) we disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes. 14. Voice Recording and AI Processing

Memry records and stores voice recordings as a core feature of the service. Audio recordings and text are transmitted to OpenAI, a third-party AI service, for transcription and analysis. Under OpenAI's API data policies, this data is not used to train OpenAI's models, and is retained by OpenAI only for a limited period (up to 30 days) for abuse monitoring before deletion. 15. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

AI-generated content such as titles, tags, mood analysis, themes, and search results may be inaccurate and should not be relied upon as factual or authoritative. Memry is not a medical, legal, or financial tool.


16. Data Preservation

Memry is not a backup service. While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, we do not guarantee permanent preservation. Users are encouraged to use the data export feature to maintain personal copies of important memories.


17. Do We Make Updates to This Notice?
